The galleries in this section chart the several sketching/painting excursions made to the St Davids area of West Pembrokeshire after 2010.
The works record, not only finished studio pieces which have been exhibited and in some cases sold, but also preparatory and exploratory works executed in the field.
The latter range from simple, often rapid pencil, pen and charcoal sketches to more fully developed works again undertaken in the field with water missible oil paints on 10" (or 9") x 12" canvas boards using a pochade box.
