Field Oil Sketches
Some of the localities recorded by simple field sketches were re-visited and more considered works completed using water missible oil paints on 10" ( or in some cases 9") x 12" canvas boards.
Like the simple sketches these were intended to be used as studies that would inform the execution of larger more substantial works.
